An intimate, in-home culinary experience for small groups who want to slow down, connect, and make something real together.
The Homemade Pantry is an intimate, in-home culinary gathering designed for small groups who want to slow down, connect, and learn traditional kitchen skills in a warm, beautifully styled setting.
Each 3–3.5 hour experience blends education, hands-on baking, and elevated grazing. You won't just watch — you'll shape, craft, stir, and taste. And you'll leave with everything you made.
Everything you make, you keep — plus the knowledge to do it again at home.
Every gathering is built around one of our two pillars — each led by a different host, each designed to teach, connect, and send you home with something real. Same spirit. Different craft.
The original Homemade Pantry gathering. From a live sourdough starter to hand-churned butter and small-batch seasonal jam — every step done by hand, every technique yours to take home.
Brittany brings her professional kitchen training to your hands. Each gathering focuses on a seasonal technique — from laminated doughs to artisan breads to pastry fundamentals. You'll leave knowing how to do it again.
Jaime Kerber · Founder
Jaime started the business after spending nearly twenty years in a demanding corporate career in Human Resources, where long hours, constant pressure, and always being "on" had become the norm. While the work was rewarding in many ways, it often pulled her away from the moments that mattered most — time with her children, slow mornings at home, and the kind of life that felt grounded and meaningful.
Over time, she realized she wanted more than a packed calendar and endless meetings. She wanted to build something with her own hands, create a life with more balance, and be present for her family in a way her corporate career never fully allowed. Slow mornings in the kitchen — hands in dough, cream turning to butter, the smell of something baking in the oven — became the part of the day that felt most real and fulfilling.
Baking wasn't just a hobby; it became a way to slow down, reconnect, and create comfort and joy for the people she loved. That feeling is what inspired the business. What began as a personal reset evolved into something rooted in family, warmth, and the belief that life's best moments are often the simplest ones.
Brittany Trevett · Chef & Baker
Brittany started the business as a way to reconnect with the passion that had always been at the center of her life — creating meaningful, beautiful experiences through baking. After stepping away from her culinary career to focus on raising her family, she realized how much she missed the creativity, connection, and joy that came from working in the kitchen and sharing that experience with others.
A culinary school graduate with more than 10 years of experience in professional bakeries, Brittany built a reputation for turning her clients' sweetest dreams into reality — from beautifully customized mini cookies to extravagant four-tier wedding cakes. If you could envision it, Brittany could create it.
But for Brittany, baking has always meant more than making desserts. It's about bringing people together, celebrating life's moments both big and small, and creating something made with care and love. She believes food made with love and your own hands doesn't just nourish the body — it feeds the heart and soul, too.

Real words from real evenings at The Homemade Pantry.
There is something deeply meditative about working with sourdough and pairing it with vibrant strawberry jam and creamy, fresh-churned butter. You leave not just with new skills and delicious treats, but with a full heart.
I had always been intimidated by the idea of making sourdough. After the workshop I made 2 loaves at home on my own! The workshop also taught us steps to make homemade butter and jam. It was a top notch experience. Highly recommend!
Jaime and Brittany were amazing! The class was fully hands-on, which I loved. We went step by step, asked lots of questions, and really got a feel for the right textures. The goodie bag at the end was such a sweet surprise!
You feel like their family the second you walk in. Getting hands-on with them guiding me made the whole process feel completely doable and fun — and I'd never even made sourdough before. It's a meaningful and delicious venture you'll always remember.
From the moment they said there's no "right" way to make sourdough, I felt completely at ease. My family loved everything so much it was gone within days — and my kids keep asking when I'm making more!
